    Change Your Grout Color Easy!

Grout Colorant can make a dramatic difference to your exitsting tile project. Is your old tile still in great shape with the grout holding back it's true beauty? It used to be very difficult to restore the grout back to it's original color. Even some of the best grout cleaners have less than desirable results if the grout is too far gone. Let's talk about how you would approach a grout restoration process that will bring your tile project back to life with excellent performance!

The first item is to clean your grout check all your grout joints and look for any cracks, voids, or crumbling areas where it has broken down and needs to be replaced. You will want to scrape any loose stuff and vacuum clean. Fill any voids with new grout and let dry. After you have a clean and dry surface comes the grout colorant. Ceramictilepro likes to use a water based epoxy that is applied with a small brush and allowed to sit for at least one hour. You will then take a water spray bottle and mist all the joints allowing it to soak for five minutes. Then take a white scrubbie pad and remove all the excess off the tile. While a labor intensive task this is, you will now have a perfect grout job that is not only sealed but should be good for approx 15 years!
